Hotel itself felt outdated. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom fixtures were showing signs of wear. It served its purpose for an overnight stay.

The hotel was fairly clean and staff were pleasant, everything was great. The room was fairly quiet and big size with 2 double beds, with essentials required.

The hotel was beautifully kept, with DECENT location close to downtown. Nice building and rooms with 1 queen bed. Location near to many stores, and all the fast food restaurants in Escanaba.

Here's the real story

My experience was less than satisfactory. The room had an uninviting smell, and it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Plus, the bathroom's lack of attention left much to be desired. The staff was pleasant, a small saving grace amidst the overall disquiet. It has potential but needs significant improvements.

The beds were comfortable.

This is an older motel and the rooms smelled a little musty. The price of $104 a night was a little overpriced for what we received. This more like a $ 70 a night motel.

A Fine Stay with Really good Service!

I felt welcomed by the friendly staff. My room was clean and had a cozy atmosphere. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast with fresh options. For a great experience, ask for a room on the quieter side of the hotel to avoid noise.

Breakfast was great as well as the whirlpool. I had wished there was a pool as well for the kids, but overall it was great. The staff was amazing and so friendly. We'll be back.

The Wi-Fi was painfully slow, the shower had poor water direction, and it would be nice if the lobby had more amenities!!! An improvement in cleanliness would also help boost guest comfort!!!

Stuff was clean.

Room was too small. Double room only had space for one suitcase. A table and 2 chairs took up all remaining space by beds. Had a lamp on the table that couldn't be plugged in because there were NO plugs to put it in. ONLY 2 plugs to use on the alarm clock (meant for phones only really). Fridge/microwave block the only space to walk into the room. NO building air conditioning. THANK GOD for the room air conditioner which must be left on at all time to keep the room from being HOT.

There was a strong deodorizing smell in the hotel, covering up some mustiness. The breakfast could have been better.

Awesome place with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a tv. The staff even helped me find my lost wallet during my first stay. I highly recommend it for a stress-free experience! I'm coming back for a business trip.

General room conditions were very good. Bathroom looked like it had been updated recently.

Door jamb on one of our rooms looked like it had been kicked in and repaired at some point, but there were still clear signs of previous damage (split wood and damage in latch area). Food serving area is a little cramped. We weren't interested in using the hot tub, but I noticed that it was not operational.
